Calling All Dodgeballers ... Can't Dodge This!
We had a smashing success last year, so we're bringing dodgeball back! Need a way to release your frustration after sitting on 101 or El Camino all day? Try throwing a ball at your kids' friends' parents. We'll meet at the Burlingamer one evening (exact date TBD). Just parents (or grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other interested adult friends). Stacking your team with dodgeball talent is definitely allowed, skill is not required, and dressing up is absolutely encouraged.

Join the party, join the fun and buy a ticket or two for the 12th Annual Carey School Sleepover! Drop off your children at school Friday evening and pick them up the next morning… Umm, did somebody say date night? Your hosts will chaperone the kids and provide dinner, fun activities, snacks, movies and breakfast. Your child should bring a sleeping bag or other bedding, a warm jacket, comfy sleepwear, and toothbrush and any other overnight essentials. This event is the place to be, and the experience is truly priceless.

Kids can join in the fun of this throw-back rite of passage and ride the yellow school bus to Carey one morning with other Burlingame neighborhood Carey students. Sure, your kids have been on a bus a few times for field trips, but this is the yellow one, picking kids up on a neighborhood corner and taking them to school all together. (Oh, and you parents get to NOT drive up El Camino one morning.) Pick-up will occur at 6 safe stops across Burlingame beginning at 7:40 AM.
Donuts and bagels will be served. This event is open to all students who can be at one of the stops by the pick up time.

Pitch a tent (or get some help pitching a tent!), tell ghost stories, and gaze at the stars during what has become a Carey traditional Back to School event.
This is the FRIDAY night camping trip at Huddart Park in Woodside, and the campground is reserved entirely for The Carey School.
The event includes catered dinner, s'mores, and lots of outdoor fun! A continental breakfast is provided the next morning before breaking camp. This is an ideal camping experience for young children and the catering makes it easy on the adults. No previous camping experience is necessary. Park fee ($6) not included. Limited to 20 families.
